When you use StoryJourney and related services, to ensure the normal operation of the software and services, we will collect your hardware model, operating system version number, International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI), network device hardware address (MAC), IP address, software version number, network access method and type, and operation logs. Please understand that these information are basic information we must collect to provide services and ensure the normal operation of products.
2. Logging into StoryJourney and Related Services
You can use third-party account authorization to log in to StoryJourney, and you will authorize us to obtain your public information registered on the third-party platform (such as avatar, nickname, etc.), and bind your third-party account with your StoryJourney account after you agree to this Privacy Policy. When using third-party account login, it may be necessary to write and read information necessary for login into the clipboard. This information is only used for login purposes and will not collect your private information.
3. Providing Story Content and Video Generation Functions or Services
Choosing story content and video generation functions for content generation is one of the core functions of StoryJourney. To achieve this function, we will access the local album after your confirmation, where you can import image files and use them for story generation. We may also access the local microphone device after your confirmation, recognize your speech, and generate stories based on the speech content.
When you use the story generation function, we may need to temporarily upload the selected images or your voice to the server for recognition processing. The related data returned to the server is only for optimizing the experience and display effects, and we will not store this information, nor will we use it for any other purposes or provide it to third parties.
When you use the story generation function, to allow you to browse the generated stories and videos when logging into the same StoryJourney account on multiple devices, we will temporarily store the generated stories and videos in the cloud. You can delete these stories and videos at any time through the delete function. After you perform the delete operation, we will immediately delete these stories and videos from the temporary data, and we will not permanently store this information, nor will we use it for any other purposes or provide it to third parties.
Please understand that when we collect and use the above information, we have carried out de-identification/anonymization processing, and data analysis only corresponds to specific, non-directly identifiable user codes.

4. Ensuring Product, Service, and User Usage Security
To help us better understand the operation of StoryJourney and related services, ensure the safe operation and provision of services, we may record network log information, usage frequency of software and related services, crash data, overall installation, usage situation, performance data, and other information.
5. Sharing and Participating in Activities
When you share or receive shared information, participate in activities, etc., we may need to access your clipboard, read passwords, share codes, links, etc., contained therein to achieve jump, share, and activity linkage functions or services. When you choose to participate in activities organized by us, you may need to provide your name, communication address, contact information, bank account, etc., according to the activity’s needs. You can query and access your avatar and username, and you can query, access, and correct them in the settings.
2. Change or Withdraw Authorization of Your Information
You can withdraw your consent by canceling the login status, turning off functions, or changing the application permissions in the client settings, changing the scope of authorization for us to continue collecting personal information or withdrawing your authorization. Please understand that specific business functions and services need your information to be completed. After you withdraw your consent or authorization, we cannot continue to provide you with the corresponding functions and services of the withdrawn consent or authorization, nor will we process your corresponding personal information. You can delete your account by clearing all data in the StoryJourney client application settings. Before you delete your account, please confirm the deletion information according to the app’s prompts. You understand and acknowledge that deleting the account is an irreversible action. Once you delete your account, we will stop providing related services to that account.
(3) Complaints and Reports
In certain business functions of the StoryJourney software and related services, we may make decisions based on non-human automatic decision-making mechanisms, including information systems and algorithms. If these decisions significantly affect your legal rights, you have the right to request an explanation from us, and we will provide appropriate remedies.
For your reasonable requests above, we generally do not charge any fees. However, for repeated requests that exceed reasonable limits, we will charge a certain cost fee according to the actual situation. For requests that are groundless, require excessive technical means (such as the need to develop new systems or fundamentally change existing practices), pose risks to others’ legal rights, or are impractical, we may refuse them.
